Weapons law in California can be quite complicated, especially when it comes to firearms. This program teaches law enforcement officers the techniques to best recognize, evaluate, and respond to incidents that involve weapons. Key topics covered include: Prohibited weapons (firearms, blade weapons, dirk and daggers); possession of firearms; concealment of firearms; possession of firearms by restricted persons or within restricted locations; and unlawful use of weapons.
